Honoring Danceline and Majorette Seniors

The class of 2022 auxiliaries soon say goodbye to not only performing, but to the laughter, tears, and myriad of memories they’ve made together. The large number of seniors have been a part of these activities since the beginning.
Most of the seniors have expressed their favorite halftime show over the past years on varsity was Panic! At the Disco. “The halftime choreography gave me a challenge, yet it was so much fun to perform!” exclaimed Emily Esposito.
The halftime show is performed at various games in which there are many different favorites between the girls. Majorette Angelina Mellilo noted, “I love senior night because even though it’s sad I get to see the seniors perform and get to do what they love.”
All of these memories hit the girls at once when they think back over the years. Audrey Angelucci recalls one of her favorites as “when Ashlyn forgot what lift we were doing while she was flying in the air and we almost dropped her.” These girls tend to make the best memories at the strangest times, but they are memories that will last forever. Laana Hassan’s favorite bus memory was “sophomore year Audrey, Aryssa and I decided to lay on top of each other in the same bus seat, and Audrey was sick and got me and Aryssa super sick, too.”
Every three years the band and auxiliaries go to Disney to march in Magic Kingdom. “I really enjoyed just hanging out and having fun with my friends,” expressed Madison Deal.
Riley Bruce hopes that she has “shown how to have a positive attitude and work hard, but also to have fun and enjoy every second.” Inspiring the underclassmen is also something that a senior hopes to do. Ashlyn Bruno exclaimed, “You have to put in effort to look effortless.”
Band snacks after halftime is something that all of the band members look forward to. Aryssa Peters and Trinity Kohnen both enjoy the away game pepperoni rolls and the vanilla sugar wafers.
Senior night this weekend is guaranteed to add more memories to a list that all the girls will cherish.
